学骑自行车（小丽）

小xiǎo丽lì十shí二èr岁suì了liǎo，还huán不bù会huì骑qí自行车zì xíng chē，朋友péng you们men都会dū huì骑qí。

小丽 is twelve and still cannot ride a bike, while all the friends can.

周末zhōu mò，爸bà爸bà带dài她tā去qù公园gōng yuán学xué车chē。小xiǎo丽lì很hěn紧张jǐn zhāng，手shǒu一直yī zhí在zài抖dǒu。

On the weekend Dad took 小丽 to the park to learn. 小丽 was so nervous the hands kept shaking.

第dì一yī次cì骑qí上去shàng qù，她tā就jìu摔shuāi了liǎo下来xià lai，腿tuǐ上shàng青qīng了liǎo一yī块kuài。小xiǎo丽lì说shuō：我wǒ不bù想xiǎng学xué了liǎo。

The first try ended in a fall and a bruised leg. 小丽 said: I do not want to learn anymore.

爸bà爸bà说shuō：每měi个人gè rén学xué车chē的de时候shí hou都会dū huì摔shuāi，再zài试shì一yī次cì，我wǒ在zài后面hòu mian扶fú着zhuó你nǐ。

Dad said: everyone falls when learning; try once more, I will hold you from behind.

她tā又yòu骑qí了liǎo上去shàng qù。这zhè一yī次cì，她tā骑qí了liǎo很hěn远yuǎn才cái发现fā xiàn，爸bà爸bà早就zǎo jìu把手bǎ shou放fàng开kāi了liǎo。

小丽 got on again. This time 小丽 rode far before realizing Dad had let go long ago.

虽然suī rán摔shuāi了liǎo好hào几jǐ次cì，但是dàn shì小xiǎo丽lì终于zhōng yú学会xué huì了liǎo。她tā明白míng bai了liǎo：很hěn多duō事情shì qing，怕pà是shì很hěn难nán，做zuò了liǎo就jìu不难bù nán。

After several falls 小丽 finally learned, understanding: many things are hard only until you do them.
