给妈妈过生日（小丽）

明天míng tiān是shì妈mā妈mā的de生日shēng rì，小xiǎo丽lì和hé爸bà爸bà说shuō好了hǎo le，要yào一起yī qǐ给gěi妈mā妈mā一yī个gè惊喜jīng xǐ。

Tomorrow is Mom's birthday. 小丽 and Dad agreed to give her a surprise together.

早上zǎo shang，妈mā妈mā出门chū mén以后yǐ hòu，小xiǎo丽lì和hé爸bà爸bà开始kāi shǐ准备zhǔn bèi。爸bà爸bà去qù买mǎi蛋糕dàn gāo，小xiǎo丽lì在家zài jiā里lǐ做zuò生日shēng rì卡qiǎ。

In the morning once Mom left, they started preparing: Dad bought a cake while 小丽 made a birthday card.

她tā在zài卡片kǎ piàn上shàng画huà了liǎo一家人yī jiā rén，还huán写xiě了liǎo几jǐ个gè字zì：妈mā妈mā，生日shēng rì快乐kuài lè，我们wǒ men爱ài你nǐ。

On the card 小丽 drew the whole family and wrote: Mom, happy birthday, we love you.

下午xià wǔ，小xiǎo丽lì又yòu把bǎ房间fáng jiān打扫dǎ sǎo得děi干gàn干净gān jìng净jìng，因为yīn wèi这zhè是shì妈mā妈mā最zuì常cháng说shuō的话de huà。

In the afternoon 小丽 also cleaned the room spotless, because that is what Mom always asks.

晚上wǎn shang，妈mā妈mā一yī进jìn门mén，灯dēng忽然hū rán亮liàng了liǎo。大家dà jiā一起yī qǐ说shuō：生日shēng rì快乐kuài lè！

In the evening the moment Mom walked in, the lights came on. Everyone said: happy birthday!

妈mā妈mā看kān着zhuó蛋糕dàn gāo和hé卡片kǎ piàn，眼睛yǎn jing红hóng了liǎo。她tā说shuō：这zhè是shì我wǒ最zuì开心kāi xīn的de一yī次cì生日shēng rì。

Looking at the cake and card, Mom's eyes went red. She said: this is my happiest birthday ever.
