东东：和妈妈买菜

星期天xīng qī tiān早上zǎo shang，东dōng东dōng和hé妈mā妈mā一起yī qǐ去qù菜市场cài shì chǎng买mǎi菜cài。

On Sunday morning 东东 went grocery shopping with Mom at the market.

菜市场cài shì chǎng里lǐ人rén很hěn多duō，很hěn热闹rè nao。他们tā men买mǎi了liǎo白菜bái cài、鱼yú、鸡蛋jī dàn，还有hái yǒu东dōng东dōng最zuì爱ài吃chī的de水果shuǐ guǒ。

The market was crowded and lively. They bought cabbage, fish, eggs, and 东东's favorite fruit.

妈mā妈mā问wèn：你nǐ还huán想xiǎng吃chī什么shén me？东dōng东dōng说shuō：我wǒ想xiǎng吃chī西瓜xī guā。妈mā妈mā笑xiào着zhuó买mǎi了liǎo一yī个gè大dà西瓜xī guā。

Mom asked: what else do you want? 东东 said: watermelon. Smiling, Mom bought a big one.

回到huí dào家jiā，东dōng东dōng帮bāng妈mā妈mā把bǎ菜cài放fàng好hào。他tā说shuō：今天jīn tiān的de晚饭wǎn fàn一定yī dìng很hěn好吃hǎo chī。

Back home 东东 helped put everything away and said: tonight's dinner will be delicious.
